ill health pension advice

Recommended Posts

Im hoping that someone here may be able to help. I have just been signed off by the SMP and the DCC has approved my ill health retirement. I have searched everywhere for a rough idea on what I should expect in terms of pension and commutation but can't seem to find anything online.

The difficulty is in the fact that I straddle two pension schemes. I joined on 01/10/01 which means I have 13.5 years on the 86 pension scheme and 2 years on the 2015 scheme. 15.5 years total service.

Im aware that the injury benefit will be settled once I'm retired.

If anyone can assist then that would be appreciated
