Ok I am at home for the second weekend again and next week its goes in to the third week and still no idea what is going on and what I have wrong. I did have a talk with one of the Management of the Hospital and told him just at how bad it was, I have seen as many diffrent internist as days I have been in the Hospital. I am getting sick from telling the story over and over again, plus it has not enough nurses for the nmr of patiants, 38 beds and at times 5-6 nurses on duty and you have to remember some patiants need a lot of help at times. So I think the wifi is just a bit of show for the less ill people. I would also like to say last Monday I had to say good bey to my dog after 11.5 years she was sick and would not eat and had not done it for 6 weeks, so we made the desicion to put her to sleep. My dog Elise is and will be missed for many years to come she was a real mate and the house is a little empty with out her. RIP Elise I would also like to thank you all for the best wishishes with me and I wil keep you al posted.

OK I have 48 hours leave from the Hospital over the weekend before even more tests. Its so that the hospital staff have it a little easy I am not the best patient as you might know. I will be complaning about the people from the LAB, reason during the night the come in at all hours and switch all the lights on that they can find. Just to get one drop of blood from your finger to test for the glucose in the blood. Its not so bad but when you are in a room of 4 and its only wanted from just one its iratating, how are you to get some sleep?. Looks like they have not herd of those lamps that fit on the head. ranroz2011-04-03 15:08:42

DATE 24 March 2011 I would have put this on a lot sooner but I could not enter the Forum with the WIFI in the Hospital as it has wifi also. While I was in the UK and since I have been back I have been and still am very ill. I have lost about 10klg and can not keep any thing down due to being sick every night for the past 2 weeks. So I will be off line for a while till my internist can sort out what is going on. I have a up date on the Bomber Command Wristbands and its good news, but I am afraid that you will have to wait for it till I am back on line.

Why is there no looting in Japan?

It could also be the case that there is nothong to steal. What you see on the news brings tears to your eyes.
  8. The landscape of parts of Japan looks like the aftermath of World War Two; no industrialised country since then has suffered such a death toll. The one tiny, tiny consolation is the extent to which it shows how humanity can rally round in times of adversity, with heroic British rescue teams joining colleagues from the US and elsewhere to fly out. And solidarity seems especially strong in Japan itself. Perhaps even more impressive than Japan’s technological power is its social strength, with supermarkets cutting prices and vending machine owners giving out free drinks as people work together to survive. Most noticeably of all, there has been no looting, and I’m not the only one curious about this. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/edwest/100079703/why-is-there-no-looting-in-japan/
  9. I woukld like to say thank you to 30down and his wife. And wish him a speedy recovery with his left foot, one thing for sure he will not be playing football for a while and he he does they will be useing it as the football. I was shocked to find out that he had to buy the cruches from the NHS also, now I know the NHS is short of money. The trip to the UK over all was a great success a update will be done on the topic for the wristbands shortly when I have recoverd a little, I am having problems with my stomach ( I can not handle the English food any more) no its realy from the stress of back to work .
  10. Thanks M Its fantastic now we can get started on all the other things also for it.
  11. We have had some good news from one of the Councils here in Holland. The Lancaster HK 569 Crashed in the Council area of Kessel in Holland and Barrie has been trying since Sept 2009 to get planing permission for a small Memorial to all the crew that was killed on the night of 22 July 1944. Kessel council have finally said yes we can go ahead with it and they might just pay a % of the cost also. So this thread is awake once more for reports. ranroz2011-03-03 23:22:07

After I had finished folding the A4s and pushing them in the envelopes. I was told to sort all holiday forms (leave forms) from before Dec 2010 in personnel nmr order and place them in boxes for going to the Archive's for 3 years. We have approx 1500 people working by our Dept and they a 5 digit personnel nmr. These forms are in the Ring maps also in personnel nmr order. And there are 2 filing cabinets each with 4 shelves with 15 ring maps to a shelf. You have to go through each ring map page for page because they go back to Dec 2009. SO that means every thing that has a date 2009 till Nov 2010 has to be removed and the rest stays and now we have 2011 also in them. And they still will not help me get a reduction card for the trains and I am still getting remarks that I am not to talk to other people in the office. One person had the cheak to remind me that I had to go to the Personnel manager after I had been told by them that the appontment had been changed from 14:00 to 15:00. I was told also not to talk to the women on another desk to long because it was keeping me from my work. It was the first time I had met her and was just asking how long she had been working by the company and why I was in the office. At this moment in I am getting a little peeed of with this git, trying to make out he is a BOSS when he is just the same as me a person that has to work for his salary. I am also getting the feeling that they do not want me back at work. Yesterday I had a chat with the Human resources manager and I told her she had to send a mail to the people for the reduction pass for the trains to say I worked by this company. She said I do not have to do that, guess what she does and if she does not she will be in trouble because they have the duty to help me after so long not at work. I was also told by one of the guys in the office not to talk to hard to some one. I whent to him and said "how long have you known me and if I want to talk to some one I will. I have just spent 4.5 years at home alone and now I have the rite to talk to who I like and when I like so get of my back" ranroz2011-03-04 10:31:45

    Petrol Strike

With all the MoD cuts that they have had and with a WAR in Afghanistan they would not have enough drivers to go round. Plus some of the drivers do not hold a permit to drive off MoD Property, they might fuel aircraft but they do not hold the Hazchem card. And those you do see on the main roads are the longest in service and have HGVIII II and I as required.
