  1. We'll just be where BTP was 10 years ago. 2 radios for officers (we used to have Channel 2 VHF sets which were used entirely by the L area and in Section 12 stations/tunnels as well as the Royal Parks Police [who also shared the same management/HR and IT network as the L area BTP] and officers would carry their Sepura TETRA radio for above ground comms)... Or they could leave what's not broken and not try to fix it.

    A constable in uniform ?

    From my training it was to be 'instantly recognisable' as a police officer, a HV would suffice (in GMP land they used to have the TVCU who wore civvies, GMP baseball caps and stabbies and they used to be exclusively traffic).
