No matter how many times I listen to this Or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0whFVTxZs8 It still gives me chills down my spine at how good they are. In my opinion anyway, my mum can't stand them and thinks they're a load of drug-addled monkeys .

He is the singer in The Stone Roses .

Oh, I've never heard anything quite to that extreme before. No wonder you were peeved, I'd have wanted a refund on the ticket cost and an apology. Not fair to be three hours late and really, not on .

He is one of the very, very few celebrities that I would love to meet and can actually imagine being a bloody good laugh . I am very jealous Scoop, therefore you are going on my block list .

For any music or Stone Roses fans.... I've just got back from seeing The Stone Roses: Made Of Stone premier and without boring you all to death, it was utterly brilliant! So good that it gave me goose pimples in some places. There was some footage showing the band rehearsing again just before they announced they were officially back together. It's the closest I'll ever get to seeing them rehearse and oh my gosh, it was definitely a 'wow' moment. If you're a fan of that sort of music, you'll love it. If you're a Roses fan, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven .

    The moans and gripes thread

You should, I have saved ££££s on there, especially where my horse is concerned. Biggest savings that come to mind have been a £95 girth that I got for £7.00 including P&P and a Loveson stable rug that I won for £28.00 including P&P. When it came through, it was new in the packaging with a £165.00 swingtag and barcode on it from a very well known and high-end saddlery. I knew it was an expensive rug but I didn't realise it was quite that expensive . Not to mention stuff for me. There was a lovely pair of long riding boots that I'd been hankering after in my local saddlery. Butter soft leather, smooth and just a stunning pair of English made with English materials leather riding boots. However, at over £200 in the shop, they were out of my budget. I went on Ebay and had a look for them with no joy. Looked a week later and a lady was listing them for £45.00 buy it now including P&P. The boots were immaculate except for a coating of dust type residue from storage and the fact the boxes were slightly scuffed on the edges. Apart from that, nothing wrong with them. They are the most stunning and comfortable riding boots I have ever had on my feet. They look good and feel better and the contact I get through my leg compared to my old boots is shocking. I can actually feel my horse with my leg now whereas before, it was a bit 'blocked' if that makes sense? Anyway, as you have probably gathered, I am a massive fan of Ebay . The excellent thing about Paypal is that if something doesn't arrive, or arrives but is not as described/fake/arrives damaged then you can open a dispute in their resolution centre and if appropriate, they will refund you your money. They're probably about the safest and best way to pay for anything online purely because of the cover they offer the buyer .

She was on one of the talent shows until she got a bit too close to Mr Cowell. Well, that is what I have heard.
  9. G*N*D

Don't know what I like about this but there's quite a bit to like.
  10. G*N*D

Yet you slag off BGT . I must admit, The Voice is a little less 'circus freak show' than BGT. At least The Voice does show talent whereas BGT seems to do anything for entertainment purposes.
  11. G*N*D

Yeah, some of it is pretty depressing. My sister and mother are religious watchers of 'The Voice'. I personally couldn't much care for it but then I happened to be floating around downstairs when this lady came on and good heavens above, she could sing the telephone book and I'd buy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL--LNdzbQQ I'm actually glad she didn't get picked because I would absolutely hate to see her manufactured in to some plastic pop sensation.

Yep, I saw that! Wasn't there one that was a Clash vinyl and the only reason it was so valuable was because that after release, they discovered a mistake on the sleeve or record and so they were withdrawn. Leaving only the very first ones sold in existence? Something like that, think that was the 'better' one. Kerching indeed on the Hendrix one! Well done, I'll buy it off you for a tenner .

H.M, there is a video that always and without fail, comes up after that one of The Ruts. I refuse to post it (even though I love it) on the grounds that the title of the band would wide open to attack. Anywaym, who rattled your cage? .

    Powerful music

Hmmmm, I have a really strong love/hate relationship with this track. Love it for the sound, hate it for what it reminds me of. Despite that, nothing quite distracts from the beauty of it, even if it does give me a bit of a punch when it comes on. One of those tracks I refuse to listen to if I am feeling a bit emotional . So, for me it is definitely a powerful track. Powerful sound that evokes powerful emotions. http://www.youtube.com/embed/JvwWzcLfH-k

If there are any that look to be quite rare, have a look on Amazon to gauge prices. A friend of mine had a CD album that was released by a band in 2001. It was a collection of B-sides and although the mp3 version is less than £8.00, for some reason the CD album sells on average for £30 and I have seen a copy on Ebay go for nearer £60. Might be worth going to some local record dealers/shops near you (if you have any) too. I'm sure you have thought of all this already but if not, it's worth considering because Vinyl has become more than a little bit popular of late .
