There is to be a discussion omongst the various EU countries to abolish the requirement for refugees to register at the 1st country they arrive at in Europe. This is with the intention of spreading the number of refugees more evenly thoughout the various EU countries. However this is being opposed by a number of the member states and we are in the happier position of being able to 'opt out'.

If this happens (A decision will be given in March) that is another good reason for an 'out' vote.

Mind you going on what has been happening over the past few years, countries like Italy and France have tken little heed of the current requirement, so will it make any noticable difference.

The UK has always played by the rules which makes us a soft target. I remember after the 7/7 attacks the french kicked out approx 17 hate preachers that weekend. It took us years to get rid of 1, no concern about the Human Rights Act in France even though they have signed up to it as well. They also refused to buy our beef long after the Foot and Mouth outbreak was over and had been told to do so by the EU.

The sooner we get out the better.

And set fire to lorries from the UK loaded with lamb.  Al these suggestions from unelected EU Commissioners is just more reason to be out of the E.U.

A German EU commissioner has also been calling for a rise in pan European fuel taxes in order to pay for the integration of asylum seekers.

It really is a pity that the British Army on The Rhine was abolished - the German really need watching closely. their aim is still domination of Europe - led by the woman whose democratic principles were learned as an East German trades union official :tongue_cheek:
